THE COMPANY ROOTS GO BACK CIRCA 1820 AND THE FORMATION OF HAMILTON’S FIRST NEWSPAPER, “THE HAMILTON REPUBLICAN”. IN MARCH OF 1946 THE PAPER MERGED WITH THE “MORRISVILLE LEADER” AND THE “EARLVILLE STANDARD” TO FORM ” THE MID-YORK WEEKLY”. IN OCTOBER OF THAT YEAR THE COMPANY ACQUIRED ALL THE PRINTING PRESSES OF THE NORWICH PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY AND INCORPORATED AS THE MID-YORK PRESS, INC. SINCE THEN THE COMPANY HAS BEEN INVOLVED WITH MANY TYPES OF PRINTING AND PACKAGING. TODAY THE COMPANY IS HIGHLY SPECIALIZED SUPPLIER TO THE PHARMACEUTICAL, COSMETIC AND FOOD INDUSTRIES ON A NATIONAL LEVEL IN ADDITION TO SUPPLYING COMMERCIAL PRINTING SERVICES TO LOCAL INDUSTRIES.
